The next general municipal election that will affect the Palm Desert City Council is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2026, when residents in Districts 4 and 5 will elect their representatives. This election completes the transition to five single-member council districts that began with the November 5, 2024, election for Districts 1, 2, and 3
The City Clerk’s Office manages all aspects of Palm Desert’s municipal elections in partnership with Riverside County. In addition to overseeing City Council elections, the office provides resources to help voters and candidates navigate the election process.
