Desert Willow Golf Resort

Developed and owned by the City of Palm Desert in 1997 in an effort to increase tourism and revenue, Desert Willow Golf Resort is operated by Kemper Sports Management. The stunning clubhouse contains a well-equipped pro shop as well as a full-service restaurant. It doesn’t matter if you play golf, there is simply no better place in the valley for food and breath-taking views to enjoy breakfast and lunch. Resident Card
Residents can obtain a Palm Desert Resident Golf Card by bringing proof of residency to the Palm Desert Community Center, 43900 San Pablo Avenue, during the following hours:

Mon–Fri: 6:00 am to 9:00 pm
Sat: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Sun: Closed

Proof of residency requires:

A valid California Driver’s License or ID with your Palm Desert address
A current utility bill (gas, water, or electric, dated within 30 days) showing the same name and address

A Resident Card is a $52 annual rate and provides a three-day booking window. Tee times will be available to be booked starting at 7:00 pm.

Champions Club Program

Weekly reserved tee times will be expanded from 52 players to 72 players.
The weekly play rate will move to $65 plus the $5 game buy in.
The Card price will remain at $299 and will include the USGA handicap for the player.
Champions Club membership will be offered to past members with five or more years of participation history and they will have first right of refusal. Remaining cards will be sold via lottery to all other interested Resident Card holders until 100 cards are sold (hard cap).

Since there will be more members than weekly slots available, waitlisted guests will receive priority access to the following week’s event.

Platinum Card Program

50% of available memberships or 400 cards will be reserved for Resident Card Holders until December 1st with any remaining being sold to any interested golfers.
Card pricing for Residents will be discounted to $299 from a retail price of $899.
The booking window for Platinum Card Holders will be increased from 21 days to 60 days, which is when the tee sheet opens up to the general public.
Golf rates will move to a percentage off Dynamic Public Prices, which are based on demand. The discount percentage is estimated to be between 25-30%.
Rates will be discounted for the card holder and up to 3 additional guests (foursome).
A Non-Refundable Booking fee of $5-$20 per player will be implemented to discourage excessive bookings. The booking fee will be part of the rate booked and not in addition to the rate booked. Therefore, the golfer will pay the net of the Non-Refundable Booking fee and the Dynamic rate booked at check-in.
Other benefits of the Platinum Card will remain similar to those offered in the 2023 program.
