Coachella Valley residents are invited to connect with neighbors and local first responders during National Night Out, taking place Saturday, Oct. 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Palm Desert Civic Center Park, 73-510 Fred Waring Drive.
Hosted by the Cove Communities of Palm Desert, Indian Wells, and Rancho Mirage in partnership with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Palm Desert Station and CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department, the event offers residents an opportunity to meet local deputies and firefighters, explore emergency vehicles and equipment up close, and learn more about organizations and resources serving the community.
The evening will feature:
- Live DJ
- A food truck
- Community resources
- Police and fire equipment
- Family activities
- Giveaways and prizes
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong relationships between public safety agencies and the neighborhoods they serve. By bringing residents, first responders, and community partners together in a welcoming setting, the event helps strengthen connections and support safer, more caring neighborhoods.
