Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Thursday, May 14, 2026

2:40 PM – Obstructing and Resisting Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 41000 block of Corporate Way in Palm Desert regarding an intoxicated subject. Deputies contacted a 47-year-old female from Palm Springs who matched the description. The female refused to comply with deputies’ commands and attempted to be physically assaultive towards deputies. The female was subsequently arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

12:25 PM – Narcotics, Theft, Probation/Parole Violation Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 34-year-old male from Palm Desert and a 29-year-old male from Indio. Deputies found the stolen merchandise, narcotics, and items indicative of narcotic sales on them. An inquiry of the males’ information showed one was on county probation and the other was on parole. Both were arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

1:34 PM – Battery Arrest – Deputies responded to a residence in the 77000 block of Michigan Drive in Palm Desert regarding a battery. Deputies contacted a 36-year-old female from Palm Desert and determined that she had instigated a physical altercation with another family member. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
 
1:37 PM – Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Deep Canyon Road and Highway 111 in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 30-year-old male from Coachella and found narcotics on him. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

6:30 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Desert Crossings Drive and Highway 111 in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 20-year-old male from Palm Springs. Deputies contacted a 46-year-old female from Palm Desert and determined she violated a restraining order protecting the victim. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

6:08 AM – Public Intoxication Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Highway 111 and San Pablo Avenue in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 64-year-old male from Temecula who displayed a heightened level of intoxication. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

10:00 AM – Theft and Probation Violation Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 24-year-old male from Thermal and found the stolen merchandise on him. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he was on county probation. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

Deputies contacted a 51-year-old female from Palm Desert and determined that she had instigated a physical altercation with her spouse. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

1:37 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies responded to a residence in the 74000 block of Country Club Drive in Palm Desert regarding a disturbance. Deputies contacted an 83-year-old male from Palm Desert. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
