Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Thursday, April 23, 2026

12:30 PM – Robbery Arrest – Deputies conducted a follow up investigation regarding a robbery that had occurred near the intersection of San Juan Avenue and Alessandro Drive in Palm Desert. Deputies determined the suspect was a juvenile male from Palm Desert. Deputies located him in city of Palm Springs and took him into custody without incident. The male was arrested and booked at juvenile hall in Indio.

8:18 AM – Under the Influence Arrest – Deputies were dispatched to a suspicious person near the intersection of Velie Way and Cook Street in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 35-year-old male from Palm Desert. The male showed obvious signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 
 
10:49 AM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check near the intersection of Alessandro Drive and Deep Canyon Drive, in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 41-year-old male from Palm Springs. Inquiry of the male’s information revealed he had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 
 
10:52 AM - Warrant Arrest- Deputies conducted a pedestrian check near the 72000 block of Highway 111, in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 42-year-old male from Indio. An inquiry of the male’s information revealed he had multiple active warrants for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
 
7:37 PM - Warrant /Shoplifting Arrest – Deputies were dispatched to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 in the city of Palm Desert regarding a theft at the location. Deputies contacted a 58 year-old-female from Palm Desert and determined she had attempted to leave the store with multiple items of merchandise from the store. The female was also found to have multiple active warrants for her arrest. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 

8:24 PM – Weapon Arrest – Deputies were dispatched to the 47000 block of Southcliff Road, in Palm Desert, regarding a suspicious vehicle. Deputies contacted, a 23-year-old-male from Coachella. The male consented to a search of his vehicle, and deputies located an illegal bladed weapon inside of the vehicle. The male was cited and released on scene.

8:19 PM - Public Intoxication Arrest – Deputies responded to the 75000 block of Gerald Ford Drive in Palm Desert regarding an intoxicated subject at the location. Deputies contacted a 24-year-old male from Lynnwood who was in a heightened level of intoxication and unable to care for himself. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 
 
11:43 PM – Driving Under the Influence Arrest – Deputies responded to the intersection of San Pablo Avenue and Highway 111 in Palm Desert regarding a single vehicle traffic collision. Deputies contacted the driver a 38-year-old-male from Palm Desert who showed obvious signs of intoxication.  The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

12:30 AM – Public Intoxication Arrest – Deputies responded to a call of an intoxicated subject near the intersection of Gerald Ford Drive and Cook Street in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 39-year-old-male from San Bernardino. The male was in a heightened level of intoxication and unable to care for himself. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 
 
10:00 AM – Delaying an Officer Arrest – Deputies were dispatched to the Bump and Grind Trailhead in Palm Desert regarding two subjects collecting brush and possibly attempting to start a fire. Deputies contacted a 39-year-old female and an 18-year-old female both from Palm Desert. Both the male and female were uncooperative and resisted deputies when deputies were attempting to detain them. Deputies eventually were able to detain the subjects. Both the male and female were arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.   

11:38 AM – Domestic Battery/Stolen Vehicle Arrest – Deputies were dispatched to a past domestic dispute that occurred in the 45000 block of Panorama Drive in Palm Desert. The victim stated her spouse, a 41-year-old-male from Palm Desert. Later that day, deputies located the male driving in the city of Palm Desert and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Deputies then took the male into custody. It was later determined the vehicle the male was driving was stolen. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.  
 
2:24 PM - Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Fred Waring Drive and Highway 111 in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted the driver a 20-year-old female from Palm Desert. An inquiry of the female’s information showed she had an active warrant for her arrest. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
 
7:30 PM – Shoplifting Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 44000 block of Town Center Way, in Palm Desert regarding a theft. Deputies arrived and contacted a 34-year-old-male from San Diego. Deputies determined the male had attempted to steal multiple items of merchandise from the location. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

2:03 AM - Public Intoxication Arrest – Deputies responded to a call of an intoxicated subject at a business near the 78000 block of Country Club Drive, in Palm Desert. Deputies arrived and contacted a 44-year-old female Thousand Palms. The female was in a heightened level of intoxication and unable to care for herself. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 
 
2:58 PM - Shoplifting Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 34000 block of Monterey Avenue, in Plam Desert regarding a theft. Deputies arrived and contacted a 23-year-old female from Cathedral City. Deputies determined the female had attempted to take multiple items of merchandise from the location. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
 
6:34 PM – Theft/Warrant Arrest – Deputies responded to the 46000 block of Ocotillo Drive, regarding a theft of an animal.  Deputies contacted a 29-year-old female from Palm Desert and determined she had stolen an animal from its owner. The female was also determined to multiple warrant for her arrest. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 

11:20 PM - Domestic Battery Arrest – Deputies responded to the 74000 block of Technology Drive, regarding a domestic dispute. Deputies contacted a 31-year-old female from Palm Desert and determined she had instigated a physical altercation with her spouse. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 

11:48 PM - Domestic Battery Arrest – Deputies responded to 77000 block of Country Club Drive, regarding a domestic dispute. Deputies contacted a 31-year-old male from Bermuda Dunes and determined he had instigated a physical altercation with his spouse. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

7:56 PM - Warrant/Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check near the intersection of Highway 111 and El Paseo Drive in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 51-year-old male from Palm Desert. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
 
8:20 PM - Shoplifting Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 19-year-old female and 19-year-old male both from Desert Hot Springs. Deputies determined both the male and female attempted to take merchandise from the location. Both the male and female were arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

 8:28 AM - Shoplifting Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111, in Palm Desert regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 60-year-old male from Yucca Valley, who attempted to steal merchandise from the location. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 

12:17 PM - Trespassing Arrest - Shoplifting Arrest – Deputies responded to the responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111, in Palm Desert regarding a subject trespassing. Deputies contacted a 42-year-old male from Cathedral City, who returned to the location after being admonished from the property. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.  

2:20 PM - Shoplifting Arrest - Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111, in Palm Desert regarding a theft.  Deputies contacted a 62-year-old female from Rancho Mirage, who was found to be concealing items in her bags. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.  
 
7:06 PM – Theft/Narcotics Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111, in Palm, Desert regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 36-year-old-female from Indio, who attempted to steal merchandise from the location. The female was also found to be in possession of illegal narcotics. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 
 
9:29 PM - Warrant/Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 111 and Monterey Avenue, in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted the passenger of the vehicle, a 29-year-old female from Temecula. An inquiry of the female’s information showed she had an active warrant for her arrest. Deputies also located illegal narcotics in the female’s possession. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
 
8:40 PM - Fraud / Narcotics Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 74000 block of Highway 111, in Palm Desert regarding a subject attempting to pay at the location with a fraudulent credit card. Deputies contacted a 42-year-old male from Corona and found him to be in possession of numerous fraudulent payment items and illegal narcotics. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

1:46 AM – Driving Under the Influence Arrest – Deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Gerald Ford Drive and Cook Street, in Plam Desert. Deputies contacted the driver a 24-year-old male from Coachella who displayed obvious signs of intoxication. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 
 
2:42 AM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check near the Washington Street and Country Club Drive in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 33-year-old female from Palm Desert. An inquiry of the females information showed she had an active warrant for her arrest. 

3:06 PM – Theft/ Warrant Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 44000 block of Town Center Way in Palm Desert regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 43-year-old male of Thermal and determined he had attempted to steal multiple items of merchandise from the location. The male was arrested and booked at county jail in Indio. 
 
8:33 PM - Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted a vehicle check near the intersection of Washington Street and Avenue of the States, in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 47-year-old male and a 42-year-old-female both from Bermuda Dunes. Deputies observed illegal narcotics and illegal narcotic paraphernalia in plain next to the male and female upon contact. Both the male and female were arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
