This winter, Palm Desert is lighting up the season with a brand-new series of interactive light installations designed to bring joy, color, and creativity to our community spaces. These vibrant displays offer an inviting way for residents and visitors to celebrate the spirit of the season by enjoying the beauty of art, light, and togetherness.
Three interactive installations are now available for the community to explore. At Palm Desert City Hall, located at 73510 Fred Waring Drive, visitors can experience a glowing display that brings warmth and whimsy to the civic campus. Just down the road, the McCallum Theatre at 73000 Fred Waring Drive features another colorful installation perfect for a quick photo stop before or after a performance. And at the Palm Desert Library, located at 73300 Fred Waring Drive, families and visitors can enjoy a bright, inviting setup that adds an extra touch of magic to this popular community hub.
In addition to these interactive locations, festive lighting can also be seen along median displays on Monterey Avenue and Portola Avenue, adding seasonal charm to some of Palm Desert’s most traveled corridors. While motorists are encouraged to enjoy these displays from the roadway, the interactive installations at City Hall, the McCallum Theatre, and the Library are the best spots to safely stop, stroll, and take photos.
