Concerts in the Park Returns For May

Free Thursday evening performances bring live music back to Civic Center Park throughout the month

Palm Desert’s popular Concerts in the Park series returns this May, bringing four weeks of live music to Civic Center Park. The free concert series takes place each Thursday evening at 7 p.m., offering residents and visitors an opportunity to enjoy live entertainment in a relaxed outdoor setting.

This year’s lineup features a mix of tribute bands and high-energy performances spanning multiple genres, from classic rock to disco and pop favorites. Each concert is approximately 90 minutes.

2026 Concert Schedule:

  • May 7: Jumping Jack Flash (Rolling Stones tribute)
  • May 14: The Suffragettes Band (Pop hits from the ’80s to today)
  • May 21: The Funky Hippeez Show (Disco and dance favorites)
  • May 28: The Yellow Brick Band (Elton John tribute)

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and arrive early to secure a spot on the grass. Food trucks will be available on site, and guests are welcome to bring picnic baskets. Alcohol and smoking are not permitted.

Civic Center Park is located at the northeast corner of San Pablo Avenue and Fred Waring Drive.
