Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Thursday, February 19, 2026

12:40 AM – Weapons Violation Arrest – Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Fred Waring Drive and Yellow Sage in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted the driver, a 30-year-old male from Desert Hot Springs, and found he was in possession of a prohibited weapon. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

9:11 AM – Narcotics and Parole Violation Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Highway 111 and Plaza Way in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 31-year-old male from Palm Desert and located narcotics on him. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he was on parole. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

9:40 AM – Vandalism Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 44000 block of Town Center Way in Palm Desert regarding a vandalism. Deputies contacted a 35-year-old female from Indio and discovered she damaged property on private property. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
 
2:58 PM – Theft Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 34000 block of Monterey Avenue in Palm Desert regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 54-year-old male from Palm Desert and located the stolen merchandise on him. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
 
4:44 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Country Club Drive and Washington Street in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 54-year-old male from Palm Desert. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
 
5:17 PM – Theft Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 32-year-old male from Mecca and found the stolen merchandise on him. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
5:49 PM – Theft Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 44000 block of Town Center Way in Palm Desert, regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 55-year-old male from Palm Desert and found the stolen merchandise on him. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

1:24 AM – Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Washington Street and Hovley Lane East in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted the driver, a 40-year-old male from Bermuda Dunes, and found narcotics on him. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

3:10 PM – Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of San Pablo Avenue and Guadalupe Avenue in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 47-year-old male from Palm Desert and located narcotics on him. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 

8:54 PM – Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Portola Avenue and Julie Drive in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 55-year-old female from Palm Desert and located narcotics on her. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

12:18 AM – Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Washington Street and Harris Street in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 40-year-old male from Indio and located narcotics on him. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

5:30 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Cook Street and 42nd Avenue in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 58-year-old male from Palm Desert. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had a warrant for his arrest. 
 
9:19 PM – Narcotics and Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of De Anza Way and San Carlos Avenue in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 38-year-old male from Palm Desert and found narcotics on him. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

2:49 PM – Resisting and Obstructing a Peace Officer Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 44000 block of San Pablo Avenue in Palm Desert regarding a disturbance. Deputies identified one of the party members as a 34-year-old male from Washington. The male failed to comply to deputies’ commands and physically resisted. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

7:04 PM – Driving Under the Influence Arrest – Deputies responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Portola Avenue and El Paseo in Palm Desert. Deputies identified one of the drivers involved as a 55-year-old female from Bermuda Dunes. The female displayed a heightened level of intoxication. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
 
7:37 PM – Public Intoxication Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert regarding a disturbance. Deputies contacted a 65-year-old male from La Quinta who displayed a heightened level of intoxication. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

Deputies contacted a 40-year-old male from Palm Desert and found narcotics on him. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

11:46 AM – Theft Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert regarding a theft. Deputies contacted an 18-year-old female from Desert Hot Springs and found the stolen merchandise on her. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
 
3:15 PM – Public Intoxication Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Highway 111 and Town Center Way in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 66-year-old male from La Quinta who displayed a heightened level of intoxication. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

11:00 AM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Town Center Way and Hahn Road in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 29-year-old male from Palm Desert. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

11:30 AM – Theft and Narcotics Arrest – Deputies identified a 45-year-old male from Palm Springs as a suspect in a theft that occurred on 02/24/2026 at a business in the 34000 block of Monterey Avenue in Palm Desert. Deputies located the male at the intersection of Ramon Road and Landau Road in Cathedral City and found narcotics on him. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
 
12:27 PM – Narcotics and Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Town Center Way and Hahn Road in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 23-year-old male from Palm Desert and found narcotics on him. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

Deputies contacted a 45-year-old female who displayed objective symptoms of being intoxicated of a drug. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
